Qargo is a tech start-up with offices based in London and Ghent (Belgium). We’re on a mission to transform the transportation industry by making it more efficient, profitable and sustainable. We are building the most user friendly and intuitive Transport Management System (TMS) on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To achieve our mission and support our growth we’re looking for a new colleague for our integration team.
What you'll be doing
✅ You’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions to integrate Qargo with a variety of software systems. Your responsibilities will include understanding the unique requirements and technical specifications of each system, ensuring smooth communication and data exchange.
✅ You'll assist in defining data mappings and transformations, ensuring that data formats, structures, and semantics align across different systems.
✅ You'll contribute to delivering projects involving our extensive catalogue of integrations, while maintaining our high standards of customer service and teamwork. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to specialize in a functional domain that interests you.
✅ You'll work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues, support incident management, and resolve technical challenges. Your open and honest approach to teamwork will be invaluable in helping us all grow and succeed together.
✅ You’ll help identify technical debt and brainstorm ideas to mitigate associated risks. You'll contribute to our make-it-happen environment to help developing logging, alerting and quality assurance strategies.
✅ You'll play a key role in documenting integration designs, configurations, and best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration among development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders.
Your Profile
✅ You hold a minimum bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
✅ You demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and an eagerness to grow in the field of software engineering. You’re interested in learning about integration technologies and platforms.
✅ You’ve established practical knowledge in web technologies, preferably in a cloud deployment. You’re familiar with writing basic SQL queries.
✅ You have a problem solving attitude and are able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
✅ You have good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and seek assistance when facing challenges.
